Shot over 3 days in London, but set in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare, this was one of the funniest shoots I’ve had the pleasure to work on. With only £100 costume budget, I had to think creatively and search out gems in the charity shops on Kilburn High Road and some of the, shall we say, less-glamorous high street fashion stores! The characters that the director, Caroline Hicks, created were so rich and full of personality and identity, that it made my job of visualising and creating their costumes so exciting.
