About

PROFILE EMMA Horn

Dressing actors and models is what I do. I started off in fashion at Elle magazine. I then moved into commercials and now I mix advertising shoots with the bonkers, exhilarating world of TV drama and film.

Some days it’s sourcing contemporary clothes for an ad, others it’s dressing actors in period costume for an award-winning Netflix show. It’s always different, and that’s what makes it fun.

My costume career in TV and film, working with big teams on productions like Bridgerton, House of Dragons, The Beekeeper (film) and Malory Towers, has led me to be an experienced costume supervisor/wardrobe mistress and costumier.

When working on commercials, social films, shorts and photographic shoots, I bring that same level of professionalism and quality of work as I do on any big UK or US production.

Costumes are sourced from wherever I feel is the best place: Costume rental houses, the high street, charity shops, online, and if something can’t be found, it can be made!

I am highly creative and organised. I understand budgets, continuity, script breakdown, character costume development and costume construction. I am also experienced in stunts and costume doubles.I am very happy dressing one actor or a crowd.
